Stanstead granite, from the Eastern Townships, formed during the Devonian period, some 380 million years ago. This celebrated stone has long been used in Québec's finest buildings and monuments.
The stone
A pale two-mica granite: white plagioclase and grey glassy quartz, dotted with small black crystals and flecks of shimmering mica.

The ritual
Place the stones in the freezer for at least two hours. Add two or three stones to your glass, pour, and let your whisky cool gently without a single drop of water. Afterwards, rinse them with clear water, let them dry and return them to the freezer.
Made by hand in Québec
We extract our stones by hand, without heavy machinery, then cut and finish each one in our workshop. Perfect with whisky, scotch, bourbon, rye, cognac, armagnac, port and aged rum.
Each stone is unique: the colour and grain of the stone and the wood vary from one set to another.
