Grill like never before on a slab of Stanstead granite, the celebrated stone of the Eastern Townships, formed some 380 million years ago.
The stone
A pale two-mica granite, dominated by white, with a pattern of small black minerals.
How to use
Place the stone on the grill and heat it gradually with the lid closed. Stone absorbs heat and releases it evenly: steak, fish, chicken and vegetables cook through gently, sear beautifully and keep all their juices. Its walnut base lets you bring it straight to the table as a serving platter.
Made by hand in Québec
Each stone is extracted by hand, without heavy machinery, then cut and polished in our workshop. Its smooth finish shows off the stone and makes it easy to clean.
Each stone is unique: colour and pattern vary from one griddle to another.
